I met up with K & C and their two adorable Bichon pups at an area park this weekend. Thanks for braving the windy conditions with me!
Their 17-year-old girl Bijou:

Star of the show Sophie:

When my friend Mary was pregnant, we referred to the child inside her as “Baby Abe.” Rarely did we call him just Abe — or his given name Abram. Just “Baby Abe.” That continued, of course, but I think now we’re gonna have to drop the “baby.” Cause he is now all little boy.

And one thing is for sure, Abe loooooves his baby friend Molly!

Molly’s changed a lot since the last time I saw her at 7 weeks! She is a sweet girl.

I am lucky to have friends with beautiful, photogenic babies who allow me to photograph them. Unfortunately, they all live 1,500 miles away in my old hometown of Atlanta, Ga.
Today I spent time with BFFs and their darling duo.

Photographing a 7-month-old and a 2-year-old simultaneously is no easy feat, but it helped having my friends’ extra hands. A. (who we can no longer call “Baby A,” and must now call “Little Boy A,” I guess), is a mover. I got plenty of pictures of the back of his head, is what I’m saying. But so fun! I have to say these are my two favorite ages. I just love them!
I bought a new prop today — a very sweet white tutu with ribbons. MB was happy to model it for me. Isn’t she gorgeous?

Look for many more posts from my weekend, including 2-year-old triplets and a first birthday party!

A few more from yesterday’s session with (almost) two-year-old J. and his parents. It was so nice to be able to go outside and run around. J. kept me on my toes as he set off exploring!

Still a little bit of snow to play in…

His daddy put him on this fallen log on our way back to the house. He was happy perched up there!

Walking with mommy & daddy…
Serious for just a second. . .

The whole family. . .

Thanks again T. family! I should have your entire gallery up within a week!

Had a super fun session today with J., who turns two years old next week! I have so many great images from this session, it’s going to be hard to narrow them down. I’ll post more later, so this is just a tiny sneak peek!

I recently ordered some print samples to have on hand, and I got them in today. I love them! So I thought I’d share.
All prints 11×14 and larger on mounted on matboard for stability and durability. It’s such a great way to show off your image; you can frame it traditionally, or even pop it into a funky wooden frame without glass. It would even look beautiful propped up on an easel.

Another fun print option is a set of wallets — the perfect way to share with friends and family. (Grandparents love ‘em!)

Please let me know if you’re interested in any of these print options, or any others!

Thank you to everyone who has contacted me about portfolio building sessions. I am going to have a very fun — but busy! — spring getting to know all of you, your families and the Cities.
I currently have no availability in March, and have very limited availability in April, so I will no longer be accepting new portfolio building clients. (If we have already been in communication, but have not yet settled on a date, this does not apply to you!)
All future sessions will be booked at my regular rates. Please e-mail me at johanna@johannaprice.com for availability and prices.
Keep an eye on the blog for more sneak peeks from upcoming sessions (like two-year-old triplets!), as well as future promotions and new product offerings from Johanna Price Photography.
And thank you for the opportunity to capture your priceless family moments. It’s an honor!
